Combined air-conditioning unit is a kind of central air-conditioning system core equipment with multiple functional modules, which is widely used in commerce, industry and large public buildings. By flexibly combining different functional sections (such as filtration, heating, cooling, humidification, air supply, etc.), it meets the user's demand for accurate control of air temperature, humidity, cleanliness and airflow organization. Structure and working principle

Structure

Modular air conditioning units usually consist of the following functional sections (which can be increased or decreased according to requirements):

  • Air intake section: introduce fresh air or mixed return air.

  • Filtration section: equipped with primary, medium or high efficiency filters to purify the air.

  • Surface cooling section: cool and dehumidify the air through the cold water coil.

  • Heating section: use hot water coil or electric heater to heat the air.

  • Humidification section: increase air humidity by steam or ultrasonic wave.

  • Air supply section: equipped with centrifugal fan to provide air supply power.

  • Noise elimination section: reduce the noise of the unit operation.

  • Heat recovery section (optional): Use exhaust energy to preheat/precool fresh air to improve energy efficiency.


Working principle

  • Air treatment process:  

    After the fresh air is mixed with the return air, it goes through filtration, temperature and humidity adjustment (surface cooling/heating/humidification), noise elimination and other treatments in turn, and is finally sent into the room by the fan.

  • Control logic:  

    The indoor parameters (temperature, humidity, CO concentration, etc.) are monitored in real time by sensors, and the actuators such as cold and hot water valves, humidifiers and air valves are automatically adjusted to achieve accurate control.
