Ceiling fresh air handling unit is an energy recovery equipment, which realizes indoor and outdoor air replacement by mechanical air supply and exhaust, and recovers exhaust energy (sensible heat or total heat), and is suitable for places with high air quality requirements such as houses and office buildings.

Features of the Ceiling Type Air Handling Unit

Structure

  • Heat exchanger: total heat/sensible heat exchange core, with recovery efficiency of 60%-75%.

  • Filtration system: primary+intermediate filter (optional H13 high-efficiency filter element).

  • Fan: double centrifugal fan (air supply+exhaust), low noise design.


Working principle

  • The outdoor fresh air and indoor exhaust air exchange energy through the heat exchange core, and the purified fresh air is sent into the room, and the dirty air is discharged, thus reducing the air conditioning load.

Equipment Maintenance Instructions

Daily maintenance

  • Filter replacement: the primary filter is cleaned every 2 months, and the intermediate filter /H13 filter is replaced every 6 months (depending on the degree of pollution).

  • Inspection of air inlet and outlet: remove the obstruction of air outlet to ensure that there is no short circuit in the air supply and exhaust flow.


Regular maintenance (quarterly)

    Cleaning of heat exchange core:

  • Sensible core: vacuum cleaner cleans the surface dust.

  • All-hot core: soak in neutral detergent and dry. Exposure or high-pressure water flushing is prohibited.

  • Fan inspection: test the speed consistency of the blower/exhauster, and monitor abnormal sound (bearing wear needs to be replaced in time).

  • Sensor calibration: check the accuracy of temperature and humidity and CO sensor data.


Seasonal maintenance

  • Frost prevention in winter: turn on the preheating function or reduce the exhaust air volume to avoid freezing of the heat exchange core.

  • Moistureproof in rainy season: check the humidity inside the machine and start the dehumidification mode if necessary.

Safety precautions

  • Turn off the power supply when replacing the filter screen to prevent the fan from accidentally starting.

  • The heat exchange core should be sealed and preserved after disassembly to avoid deformation due to moisture.

FAQ

Q: What is the reason for the insufficient fresh air volume? How to solve it?

A: the filter screen is blocked or the fan is reversed. Need to clean/replace the filter screen, or adjust the power phase sequence.


Q: What is the reason for the decrease of heat exchange efficiency? How to solve it?

A: The volume of exchange core is gray or frosted. It is necessary to clean the core regularly and preheat the fresh air in winter.
